Default dammit so close...

last night it was about 45* out so i strapped up the gtech and made one atempt for 14s. took off the headlight real quick and smoked the tires. it was my first run on it since the summer. i was so close, 15.00... kinda sux but not bad for a 4.8 with i/h/e. i figure if i take off the bedcover and the tailgate id get 14s easy, u think?

Yeah my mph is way off on the Gtech also. Like 3-4mph. If you want a good tire and rim combo, try the one's I'm running. (see signature) I got the Escalade wheels off EBAY for $236 NEW (take offs), and you can get the tires from tire rack fairly cheap. They are super sticky and also a tad shorter than stock so it give you more gear. I usually run 20" centerlines with 285/50's but I picked up 4 tenths with the Escalades. Its gonna be tough to put the twinkies back on after winter, but they do look pimp. Good luck seekin14s.
