Sorry I misunderstood your post. You will need Edit or a custom tune. I'm surprised it would even shift into OD under heavy throttle.
14.10 is tough, you may need better heads and cam.
Thunder Racing had several of those La. guys running 13's or better with their set up. Give "em a call.
Watch for cows and horses on the FM roads they are tall enough to come in the windshield.
