cutout question
Ive been wanting the DMH e-cutout but i have one question. I see most people running longtubes with it. If i were to put a cutout on my truck with the stock headers after the cats before my flowmaster muffler, how much louder would it be? good sound? i listened to some youtube videos of them and they sounded awesome but they all had longtubes also. If its not going to be much louder with my setup and not worth the money then ill pass. Just wanna have alittle extra fun

It will be louder, even after the cats, but nothing like it would be before them.. But then it would set a light unless you were tuned.. I would go for it if you want a loud truck at a touch of a button. Then you have it you can always put it on after you put headers on..

yeah i don't really want to spend double for two flowtechs just so i can put them before the cats......if i go this route i just need one and put it once the Y pipe comes to one but it sure would be fun to have "loudness" at the touch of a button

I had one on my camaro with stock manifolds and a hi flow cat similar to what is on our trucks now. i had it after the cat and it was really loud and raspy. wot was amazing! but cruising at 2-3000rpms it sounded like an old farm truck. I would get one they are great, very loud or reasonable at the touch of a button

haha i have thought about swapping the flowmaster with something....but magnaflow is too quiet for me. Give me options to keep the same sound and not lose the loudness its at now.

you think magnaflows are too quiet but they're not. I used to think mine was quiet still untill I was outside and behind it a ways. Do it and never look back. Also headers and no cats drastically help with the sound so thats another factor. AJ has cats on his truck and his is still decently loud
