Finally decided to get my hands dirty last night and got CC to function.
Thought I would share the fix for anyone who runs into this in the future. Basically, your going to find the plug for the original V6 cruise control box. It comes out of the main harness in between the firewall and fuse box. I cut the wires in pin A, B, and C right at the plug. They should be gray, dark blue, and gray/black. These three wires are what you're going to need to solder into the TAC. I tore the loom off of the TAC plug that comes from under the fuse block in the main engine harness so I could solder them under the fuse block. That way it's hidden and you can follow the correct wire down under the block. Follow the dark blue wire from pin 4 in the TAC plug down under the block and snip it. Solder the dark blue wire from the old V6 cc plug to the dark blue wire that runs to the TAC plug. Do the same with the gray/black wires from both plugs. Now there are two gray wires in the TAC loom so make sure you cut the gray wire from pin 14! And solder the pin 14 grey wire to the gray wire from the V6 plug.
Now the TAC has signal from the CC switch from inside the cab.
