Looks like Doug Thorley makes headers for them. I'll have to call Nick at ARH & see if they are cooking anything up.
OHHH boy. Look out...

Uh oh. Don't get rid of her.

Try lookin on Colo / Canyon forums or in a S10 forum , PT has 1 I think. You're either not lokin in the right place or they're not tellin.

I believe a turbo was fitted to a 5cyl. Colo / Canyon CC ~8-10 yrs. ago. Seems if I remember right, those 5 cyl.'s are fairly solid blocks, but I'm unsure how much they can be put thru & such. I'm curious what the 5 cyl. block weighs, cause it might make a nice corner carver if it stays lite.
That said, GM has produced some stout blocks, other than V8's. The Ecotec comes to mind, capable of some really stupid abuse, more than you'd think. Unless you're aware of them in a "highly modded" form. North of 550-600hp by a bit.

TBSS = ls2 Colorado should have no problem with anything the TBSS can use. I am not certain of this. I don't see why this would not work. I toyed with the idea of a colorado but a diesel seems much more practical for what I hope to use it for.

The reason you haven't seen anyone post anything up is because your on the wrong forum for this type of truck. Not to say they don't belong here because they most certainly do!! But they mostly hang out on the colorado/canyon forums'. Try there and I'll bet you have a better response.

I just spent the last hour Googling & checking out Colorado/Canyon forums. Yeah, I'm not seeing too much there. Mostly I5 stuff, and hardly any V8's. The majority of the mods seem to be bolt-ons & canned or mail order tunes. Only a few of them have broken into the 13's, and a couple into the 12's, I think I saw one guy spraying on a built motor getting 11's.

I did find out that the front diff is a 7.6" AAM with an aluminum case. A cast iron case from the H3 Alpha should be a direct fit.

I also found out that a guy weighed his crew cab, full of gas, with him in it, at 4000 pounds. It was a V8 truck, but may have been 2WD, I wasn't able to tell by his post.

Oh, those forums are BORING!!! lol

I need a pickup moreso than a TBSS, for hauling parts & whatever. Also need a 4x4 so I can drive it year round up here(Alaska). RCSB are not common here, and are overpriced as well. Not saying that I'll get another truck, but the thought has been crossing my mind. Time will tell.

If anything bad ever happens to the body of my truck, my drivetrain is going into a rc 4x4 colorado. I think the interior is small, and kind of cheap, but it looks like trailblazer interior should fit nicely.
