I dont know if any of you watched Kyles vid from Wed or not!! There was a car that had 4 burnt pistons a t around noon. They had to be in Ohio today. Every one thought they were out. Them crazy bastards spent all last night Rebuilt the motor 8 new pistons and all gapped the rings with a angle grinder by sight Complete fresh motor in about 12hrs with almost no tools Then drove 8 hrs hitting all the stops and made it there at 9:30am

This was the guy in the lead with 8.6 avg. Talking with scott. Everyone on drag week was cheering when they showed up

Just goes to show that dedication gets you very far. Good for them, and hope they continue on without another incident.

 

Was this the same guy they were talking to on one of the videos? They were talking with a guy that said basically the car was running for 3 years with only 1 driveshaft problem. The engine was 3 yrs old. That would stink to have the motor break in the middle of this event after it had run perfect for 3 years. This guy has my kind of luck. Hope it holds together for him.

 

wow... props to them for putting that all back togetther. Cant wait to see what happens next this week, i would make all the stops and be right along with them just to watch everything... but for now, the videos will have to do
