coolant tube

Default coolant tube

on an 00 5.3 do you have to use the coolant tube that goes from head to the otherhead to the radiator?

I have an '02, not a far cry.



Is that the hose you're talking about? It's OEM.

i dont have a pic....the tube thats in front of the intake goes frm head to the other and goes to the radiator....its a skinny tube

The one closest to the CAI is. Do you need me to see if it has the part number on it?

the hose in ur pic the rubber one going under ur kNn ...goes to the tube that go from each head...do you have to use it?

i have one but its all bent up...it wont line up for crap...n they dont give them bit** away either... i have the lil blockage ones on it now,i havent crank the truck up yet still putting it together as we speak...just wanted to know if it had to be used or not..

It helps equalize the pressure in the heads for better cooling... Send a pm to Bonj87 i think he has a used tube he may sell...
