Just curious, I haven't looked at my engine in a while and I'm a couple hundred miles from my truck right now...do our engines have one or two crossovers. IIRC there's one in the front and I think that's it...

If there's only one, do you think that there's any benefit to getting a second one, or just leave it as is?

there is only one stock on our trucks , i dont think it will hurt anything and possibly help . i did it becasue it gives me a bit more peace of mind and should help in theory

What is everyone doing with the front crossover when using a non coolant throttle body?

If you are not running a S10 conversion with a barb in your upper radiator hose... just run the crossover to the nipple on the pass side radiator tank with a piece of 3/8 hose.
