I've taken some pics of the inside of my computer, can any of you tell me what will fit/what sockets will fit, etc??? I can take more pics to clarify some things just let me know. Right now I'm looking to get a Pentium 4 2.4 GHz CPU. Will my current motherboard support this/ should I buy anotherone? I'm very interested in learning more but have so many questions. Does anyone have a basic computer they are willing to sell cheap so I can build my own and learn more? Anyways here are some pics.

Give me a day and I'll give you some specs on one of my extras I have here. I'm pretty sure I've got a spare Athlon 2GHz, a board and some other stuff you'd need.

Jerry2500, what upgrades are compatible with my current setup (1GHz pentium 3 cpu) Also my dad said that the RAM is maxed out on the thing. I think the meant that there is no more room to add more sticks of RAM. Right now I know we have 1 stick of 256MB, then 2 sticks of 128MB to equal the 512MB of RAM. Can I remove one 128 MB stick and put a 256 MB stick in its place just to help my dads comp. out a little? Thanks for all the helpful info guys, I really appreciate it. Thanks

If you find that Pentium 1.3GHz just let me know what you want for it. Also would the 1.3ghz be a direct swap (just unplug the 599mhz and plug in the 1.3ghz) is it that easy? Thanks
