Color matching your mirrors!
#1
If you have crome mirror covers and wanna color match your rig go get your self some 400 grit sand paper, 3M 2 sided tape primer, paint, and clear coat and a hot day.
1.Just pry cover off with a flat head screwdriver (be carefule Hercules there plastice)
2. Sand/wash free of dust and oil don't touch after.
3. Prime at lease 2 coats dry time betweencoats vary on temp/ sand than prep for paint.
4. Paint at least 2 or 3 coats let paint bake in the sun.
5. Last spray clear in light coats as it will crack paint if it is too thick, than let bake int the sun again.
6. Apply 2 sided tape in designated spot on back of cover and apply.
7. Any ???'s just ask?

Too time consuming to paint all of the mirror housing. You would need to sand the whole thing down until all of the rough texture is smooth. Then you could paint them.
seems cool, but a lot of time to do it.
Did you also paint the part the mounts to the door?
Lets see some pics.

But lightly sand it and use some gloss black duplicolor paint and slap on a few coats. Its easy if you take your time.
i need to repaint due to me rushing it last time and the first caot didn't cure and the second coat made the first run
I will post pics of the mirror today(got wheels yesterday and was distracted)
