First off the driver side bottom housing did not snap in properly. Not sure why but it just sits popped out and drives me nuts. Secondly putting the kit together was kind of sucky because there were no instructions and I was just fumbling in the dark basically but I could put that one on me. Third was that the right headlight constantly flickered and went out while driving. Finally figured it out to being the harness so I cut it off and just connected the wires straight together. Also when I start the truck the parking brake has got to be on or else one or both headlights will not turn on.

So yeah pretty retarded in my opinion.

I've had issues with nearly every cheap aftermarket lights not fitting worth a crap. The wire problem is annoying but as you did easily repaired, the parking light issue idk mine are auto on with the light sensor on the dash. I do have an HID igniter that occasionally doesn't light up, for example, this morning I turned the truck on to let it warm up while I walked the trash cans down the driveway, and for some reason, the driver's headlight didn't light up. Got back to the truck turned the lights off for a sec then back on and voila they both came on, that happens probably once every 2 weeks. I think I have a set of igniters but then the headlight mounting pin doohickies suck so bad I'll have to fiddle with it in the dark to try and get them centered properly then likely adjust the beams. Life is just so rough

You think I can get the ugly out of these and make them look clear or should I just say screw it and get new ones? Buying new lower housings no matter what.

Think they might be a bit too ugly

with OEM ones, you could totally wet-sand & reclear them pretty easy & have them stay that way for a while.
