Default Catch can hose sizes

I have a 2000 ECSB with the 5.3, and a fleabay catch can from a previous project. The vacuum line from the PCV is 1/2" and the hose on the catch can is 3/8", would necking down the vacuum lines cause any issues?

If your N/A, I think it would be ok. Could you put another fitting in the can and cap the small one?

I ran 2, 3/8 lines (one from each valve cover) on my d1sc setup. It worked ok, but wasn't quite enough. I had to zip tie the dipstick tube down cause I blew it out a couple times.

It is staying NA, I thought about getting larger hose for the setup but the fittings on the can are too small to hold a 1/2" hose.

I searched alll the treads on here, but none really addressed any negatives with using smaller diameter hose.

I guess i will put it in and see what happens.

Thanks for the help,

Justin
