Default Can't decide....

...I'm looking to pick up a used truck with higher miles but I can't decide which of the two to buy, what do you think.

1) 2001 White Extended Cab 2500 for $9,995, 92k miles

2) 2002 Black Crew Cab 2500 for around $12,500, 101k miles

I'm looking to use either of these trucks as a daily driver, my wife and I are having a kid soon so we need something with a little space, more than the WS6. I like the fact that the white one has the extra tool boxes for storage however the black one looks killer but it's also more expensive and more miles. What would you do?

I figure for reliability the 4l80e is better, the 6.0L is as reliable as the 4.8 and 5.3. No reason, just the prices these two are compete with the 1500's

whats up asheville?
Id say the black one
Reason being, its black, looks better, and the white one looks like a work truck
which might tell you its been worked hard
I mean, I can see it going up black mountain pulling a skid steer

I may be wrong but just a thought

definately go with the black one, looks alot better and if you are looking for more space there is nothing like a crewcab....... like you said not bad prices compared with the 1500's...

I vote for the black one too...the white one was probably used as a work truck with the tool boxes and headache rack, plus i don't like how the long bed looks with an extended cab....need a crew cab to make the long bed look right IMO. I also like the Chevy HD front end better than the GMC. Which one looks in better condition? Have you driven both of them?

Spend the extra cash and get the black. The white one looks like it been rode hard and put up wet. Wish i had a crew cab.
