another exhaust thread plz help!!!!!

Default another exhaust thread plz help!!!!!

well like everyone else (well not everyone) ill be ordering the Pacesetters LT for my truck and thinking about the y pipe too. i hope i dont sound dumb asking this question but anyways... the y pipe bolts on directly to the headers right? but what about the cats? no cats? is this bad will my truck throw a code??? i live in texas so i think i need the cats.. someone plz help me!!! well after the Y pipe ill have a e-cutout then a dumped muffler...thats another question any sugg on mufflers!!!! spiralflow-aerochambers-bullets ahahaha!!! so many cant decide....

I would leave the cats off and get a tune. Then id get a hooker. And yes the y bolts to the headers. I dont know if theres room for cats, mine are still on order.

If you have emission, you need the cats. Otherwise if you don't, you could just leave them off and have your tuner cancel the rear 02s.

in texas you need cats. its easy to get around it though. get a custom tune and have them delete the rear 02 sensors so you truck dosent throw any codes. in texas 06 cars and newer only get plugged into the obd2 port. if there are no codes you pass.
