Default Can I get a tire reccomendation....

Almost 1 year ago I bought a set of Hankook Ventus RH06's....while they seemed to do pretty good then time has shown me otherwise. I'd like some reccomendations from people that are running different tires so I can figure out what I'm gonna do when I replace the tires here in the next few weeks

Here's my requirements:

* EXCELLENT dry traction....it's nice to be able to sping the tires but I'd REALLY like to be able to leave a stoplight under moderate throttle without turning them over EVERY time

* Size: 275/55-20 or 285/50-20

* Somewhat decent treadwear....I realize that performance and treadwear don't go together well so I'd like to get at least 25,000 miles out of them

I am running stock rims but I've been really happy with the Yokohamas Geolanders G051. I've put about 25,000 miles on them and they still look new. They have excellent grip and are pretty inexpensive.

the best ive seen are Nitto's for street use... a friend of mine has them on his lighting which runs high 12's, and all he does on street racing nights he just spins them a little (no big burn out) and they hook like a ****!!! he gets no spinning at all with them.... I need to ask him what series they are though... other than that I heard toyo's hook pretty good!!

I love my Toyos. Hook very well on dry pavement, pretty well in the rain, still look new after three summers of use, and come in 285/50/20.
