well let me put my .02 in ,02denali and myself was at the track and a quadcab 4.7 spun half way down the track with a 200shot of nos and ran a 15.3 he tried to say it was only a 75 shot but a quad cab 4.7 in stock form runs a 17.6 in the houston area so a 200 shot was our clue and to that note yes a quad cab can run in the low # with enough nos and so can anything else that is street legal! and a extended cab r/t 5.9 in the houston area runs a 15.2 in stock form so with a 200 shot it should run what close to 13.2 or maybe better for less than 2k right? it may not last long but its dueable right later, kevin

) I'm pretty sure those high 9's/low 10's guys don't drive those trucks home, and I guarantee those 9's/low 10's trucks aren't daily drivers...... unless there owners can afford massive amounts of fuel and frequent engine/tranny rebuilds.

Owner: Ron Merx. 10.77@131.7 - timeslip posted - video available.
He drove home 65 miles with the A/C on and it's his daily driver.

Owner: Scott Quaranta. 11.27@122.47 - timeslip available.
When not undergoing upgrades he drives it on the street frequently. His time was run without N2O or any of the other major upgrades he has installed in the past 45 days - in the spring he puts the N2O back in and should run high 9's/low 10's.

He drives this regularly to work when weather permits.
All three vehicles are street legal and have no weight reduction. They are all driven to and from the track every time they race. Scott only takes off his tonneau and swaps rims/slicks at the track, I assume Damon/Ron does the same.

Since the last time I ran I have added a new performance transmission, torque converter, 150hp jets, as well as some other performance tweaks. I'll be back at the track when it opens for business at the end of the month and should be well into the 12's with my newer configuration.

A QC 4.7L Dakota should be running about 16.0 in the quarter mile in Houston with a good driver. I ran 15.7 bone stock in my CC at LVMS (which is at least .5 slower than HRP). These motors love the spray - I gained 1.5 seconds and 11mph my first time out on just the 75hp jets at 800psi.
