I OWNED a RCSB Dakota R/T with the 5.9 when I was bone stock at pomona.

 

More crap from the guy who claims his truck -N/A- can waste my or any other R/T I mentioned at the time even though we have power adders.

Like most internet tough guys, when told to "put up or shut up" with some proof (time slips or videos), you suddenly changed your tune and never responded. Maybe it was the embarassment at mistaking my track number for a dial-in time?

The R/T club's national event will be in Texas this year, how about you come on down for our T&T night and show us "5.9 TURDS" just how fast your pile can go off its bottle? Make sure you're running at least low 12's in that configuration to hang with the average crowd, and high 9's/low 10's to claim yourself king of the hill of street-legal trucks.

Before this turns into a bigger flamefest than it needs to be, this has nothing to do with the QC 5.9 challenge - he stuck his own neck out, he can "put up or shut up" on his own. This is just a continuation of the smack Slowverado talked but couldn't back up.

Edit: This also has nothing to do against any other LS1-powered truck. I'm a firm believer in the fact that anything can go fast if you put enough time, money, or knowledge into the project. I have nothing against any other Chevy owner unless you act like Slowverado does.

my buddy has a 5.9 r/t ext cab, he has a ton of stuff done to it, well not enough. it's in his garage right now, he's tearing the motor down @ 12,000 miles. i guess he's tired of my 4.8 spanking him . i'll post pics of his truck in the garage if no one believes me. "people" at "another" site don't believe when i say a 4.8 will walk a modded 5.9

 

5.9's are turds! one of my friends has a ext cab r/t and it only runs mid 15's. 5.9 rams are just a freakin joke

 

dude, your truck IS slow...now yeah there are other fast dakotas out there, hell, if i dropped 20k on a motor i would be runnin 9s also. 99% of all of those trucks are slow, and every once in a while there is a guy that's willing to forge a motor and spray the **** out of it. as for whatever other **** talking you're reffering to YOU'RE A MORON...i havn't a clue what you're talking about jack ***. i used to own a 01 ram 5.9 quad cab, and it wasnt nearly as fast as the dakota. not that the dakota will spank the silverado but it will be a closer race than you think.

 

4.7l dakotas are fastest dodge trucks. i don't know about the hemi's but i know they'll outrun r/t dakotas and any other rams. one of my friends has a reg. cab 2wd dakota 4.7l/5 speed/3.90 posi and it's pretty damn fast.
