Default Calling All Motor And Tranny Swap Guru's!!!!!!!

Ok looks like were getting close to installation time!! I'm still waiting for the tranny to arrive but none the less it's on the way Now, I need to make sure I have everything I'll need in order to complete this swap successfully. So I'm going to need your guy's help with a list of things needed to do this swap. I'm doing the motor and tranny swap at the same time. Motor is a 5.3 block which has been turned into a 383 and the tranny of course is the 4l80E. Also can anyone give me a good place to get the driveshaft from...remember this thing needs to be able to handle over 1200 crank HP!! I just hope the STS can prove all its haters wrong!! Thanks fellas

Nick

You might want to look into these parts. You might have seen this already, but just thought I'd try to help.

Yeah, sure do!! I wanted to be down there a little longer, but we're still waiting on some people to make decisions on placement of some equipment. About when do you plan on doing the swap? I MIGHT be there againg after the first of the year.

I'm trying to get the parts so I can start it up before christmas I think a little birdy might be getting me the STS (hoping so at least) So I wanted to have everything installed and ready for it. I'm sure if that's going to happen though but it's worth a shot! If not then it'll be waiting for the New Year and I'd be more than abliged for some help
