Default Cab Replacement

I have a 1999 pickup with some major rust and body damage. I found a killer deal on a cab and if i can get any info if the cab of a 2004 silverado would fit on the chassis of a 99 and if the interior is going to fit. I am also going to take the interior and wiring out of the 99 and put it in the 04 again if it is at all possible.

Same basic design from 99-07 classic, shouldn't be much of an issue. There may be some minor differences but shouldn't require anything drastic. Like a floor pan or fire wall change. just make sure you get paper work for the VIN from the donor truck.

that was my thought but wasnt completely sure. but yeah the vin is a very important thing. im trying it this way instead of repairing the large areas of rust and the big dent in the pillar. but thanks for the info
