**** I agree 100%, I thought I was gonna be looking for several months before I found a "deal", if you can call it that in this market. The house I got was listed for 24 hours when they presented offers, and there were four. We ended up waiving the appraisal, which makes me a little nervous, and came in above asking price. The market sucks! Same house a year ago probably would have gone for 25-30% less.

I close in 30 days, will let you know when the party is! I should probably get a little bit of furniture before the party, and maybe a TV or something. I have a desk, dresser, and bed from my room and a couple of old couches. No TV, no kitchen table, no furniture for the other two rooms, nothing to go in the back yard.

Anyway, it's a 3BR 1 3/4 bath, 1450 sq ft, 2 car garage, RV gate with concrete pad, corner lot, decent size back yard that has been kept really well. House was built in '85 so it has room for improvement but is also in really good shape as is, which gives it some good potential. Now I'll have to decide if I want furniture or more toys for the truck. I keep talking about this or that to buy for the truck, and mom keeps telling me that should be the last thing on my mind...but whateva! I do what I want!
