Yea, ARP bolts are a lot harder and stronger than the cheesy GM bolts.
loosing performance depends on if your O2 sensors are reading the extra air from the exhaust leak and richening up the fuel mixture trying to compensate for a lean condition that really isnt there.

no issues, or leaks.

If you get good quality bolts they shouldn't break on you...they do have a tendency to loosen up from time to time so I just go through them periodically and snug them up. If you got a wheatly tune your front o2 sensors will still be on, they are important and will affect how your truck runs. The second ones which you likely no longer have and are the ones that typically get shut off merely monitor how your cats are functioning and will not cause any driveability issues, but they will throw dtc codes.

Like Atomic has mentioned in the past, go to fastenal an get some 10.5 hex cap bolts. This is what I will be using when I install my 6l soon. I have seen many of these broke
Including mine in my 5.3, I just let it leak as I'm about to swap.
