im pretty sure the reason they went to the rear drum brakes is because SOME the rear discs started squealing while still under warranty, so GMs magnificient fix was to go to drum brakes so they couldnt squeal

What would it take to get rear disc on my 05? Could I get the caliper brackets, calipers, lines, etc. and swap it or is something different with the axles?
