Default Bought a new toy.

I bought a new (new to me) truck today. It's an 86 4x4 Chevy. The truck is red and is a regular cab short box. It was redone in 91 with new paint, panels, and other parts. It also has a 93 350 V8 with a Camaro intake and Holley carb. The gears are 3:73's and it has the Chevy truck rally wheels (two sets). It was my uncle's truck and was very well maintained and is still in great shape with no rust. I bought it mainly for a daily driver and for when the snow flies. I'm going to leave it pretty much the way it is except for a 4" lift, some new tires, probably headers, and a CD deck. I'll get some pics of it when I pick it up in about 2-3 weeks.

I love the older Chevy's... buddy of mine had a 77 red and white with an original 454.... it was immaculate and a blast to drive.

Good Choice

Yes, actually I do. A 5.3L would be nice too though. Neither will probably happen. I'm broke enough just modding my 99.

Well, it looks like I'll be ordering a 4" lift for it and some 33" BFG's. Kind of a 180 for me being that I prefer lowered trucks.
