Default Blower works on every speed but High

I have a 03 SS and my blower works on every speed but high. Correct me if I'm wrong but normally if it's the blower resistor then only lo(1) and hi(5) would work right? Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? Thanks!!

I dont have a wireing book in front of me, bu the high speed setting bypasses the resistor entirely, and I *think* the hi setting is controlled by a seperate relay, my bet is that relay went south.

the circuit is seperate from the resistor. Could be switch, fuse , relay or wiring . Check fuse first. I will look it up on alldata 2morrow @ work 4 u

Default No blower on high

Same thing happened to my moms Tahoe. It turned out to be a curcuit board that is mounted under the dash right beside the blower fan.I had to remove the cover over the duct work on the passenger side to get to it.Maybe this will help you out.

Thanks...I will be waiting for the TSBs. Also I should probably put the engine back in my truck before I worry about the blower not working. But, alas I am at the mercy of my engine guy. This is the first engine I've ever paid to have built and I'm sure it's gonna turn out awesome.

You don't need the TSB, it is the connector at the blower resistor. Under the dash on the right side there is the blower motor, right beside it is the resistor assembly. There are 2, 5.5mm screw that hold it in. Unplug the five wire connector and you will probably find the connector is melted at one or more terminals. It may actually be melted and stuck in the resistor. If it is not melted, replace the resistor, if it is melted replace the connector and resistor, make sure to put some dielectric grease on the terminals before plugging it back in.

Thanks a lot. Once I get my other blower(radix) along with the engine back in I'll be on top of it. I am sick of all this little **** going bad on my expensive truck. I Chevy thru and thru but they are starting to **** me off.
