Blazer not running...what could it be???

alright guys, it is a fuel problem...if i spray starting fluid into the tb it starts, but dies out b/c of lack of fuel. the fuel pump is humming, i can hear it. what do you think

Well, just because it is humming doesnt mean it is pumping the correct pressure. But if it is pumping correctly, then you are looking at either a fuel pressure regulator or the injectors. You can get a rebuild kit for the regulator for about $25, and the injectors run about $40 a piece at your local AAP.

i took off the fuel filter, and that might be the problem...going to napa to get a new one, gonna try that

nope, not the fuel filter, it just isn't getting feul to the throttle body

thanks juggernaut, it is the fuel pump, it is barely pupming fuel past the filter, it is a steady stream, but it is not spraying at the psi it need to. thanks again, matthew

yeah, if i can change plugs on my camaro, i can drop the tank and swap out fuel pumps on the blazer. Damn, that is so sad
