My truck is now 100% blacked out, but while swapping grills i broke the clips off the stock bowtie. I want to replace it with another stock one or a black one, but u can't find any bowties online that are not billet. If you know where I could get one let me know.

You could just get a stock bowtie from a junkyard and paint it black. Here's a suggestion....I got a custom made decal that went over my stock bowtie from www.tfbdesigns.com. Check them out! They have alot of different color combinations for the background color and the outline color. I chose to get a black bowtie with a red outline. Here it is on my truck:

This has probably been gone over 100000 Times but how did you paint the stocker, just spray bomb? Or sand, prime, sand, spray colour, clear? or?

 

Yep, just spray paint it. I've painted some bowties before with no prep work and they still look good. It would probably be a good idea to scuff up the bowtie with some sandpaper prior to painting though.

 

That is a really good looking truck. All it needs now is set of black heavy duty wheels of some sort and maybe 325SS on the back.

That picture is tempting me to take off my billet overlay and paint my chrome bar black.
