Default Billet Bow Tie Install?

How does it install on the grill. On my s-10 there were two nuts you took off and it just popped off. I took my grille off last night to clean the billet grille in it and take it off to put in my new grille that should be here to day. I ordered a billet bow tie for it and it doesnt look like there is any bolts or anything. So those that have the billet bow tie how does it go on?

On my 05 Chevy the factory one was bolted on and all I had to do was unbolt it and bolt on the billet bow tie. Got the billet bow tie from Billet Specialties. My 00 Chevy was a different story. I ordered it from some website and when I got it it only had some threaded holes on the back of the bow tie and the factory bowtie clipped in. I had to go to bolt and nut store and got some all thread that fit the threaded holes on the back of the bowtie. Then I had to drill out part of the grill to get the all thread through the grill. Then I used a washer and nut to hold it on.

So do you pop the bot tie out from the front? Just put a crew driver under the edge and pop it out or what?

If I remember right i took off the grill and used a screw driver to remove the bow tie from the back. Should be some gray clips on the bow tie where it clips on to the grill. I still have my stock bow tie from the 00 Chevy and could take a picture of it if you think that would help?

If its as easy as you say it is then it shouldnt be any big deal. I take a closer look when I get home tonight.

The stock should clip off. The replacement I put on had two threaded studs in the bowtie and nuts and washers to put on the hold it to the shell. No drilling for mine.
