Are the lobes on your FMS cam steap and aggresive? I'm wondering if he uses same lobe design on all of his camshafts. Get some videos if you can. I'd like to hear that camshaft at play.
I've heard they're more aggresive than Comp's X-ER lobe profile.

TTT, I'd like to hear how your setup is coming along w/ the tuning and so forth
Also, I emailed Allan and heres what he said to my previous statement about the lobes he uses:

Our lobes are not as aggressive as Comp XE-R series. They are more comparable to Comp high-RPM series.
We have different "style" of lobes to pick from and use different ones for different setups.

Sorry guys... been kind of busy lately. However I have made some progress. I decided I needed a wideband to figure out exactly what my A/F is running so I got a PLX M-300 along with their narrow band to wide band gauge converter to make it read on an Autometer gauge. I also got two other gauges to go with it while I was at it. So now I have three Cobalt guages on my piller to keep tabs on everything (Fuel Pressure, A/F, N2O Pressure).
Now to what you want to hear... I still am getting tons of false knock that I cant get rid off, however I have tuned out alot of the effects of it. But.. eventhough it is not pulling out timeing, the pcm is still seeing voltage from the knock sensors and I believe it is throwing me into the low octane table knocking my timing back down. I went out tonight to log some data from the tune I messed with last night and everything looks pretty good except I am still running a little rich at wot (high 11). I will give this tune another day or so to set in then tweek it some more. Hopefully next week I will feel good enough about it to try some spray on it.
As for the agressiveness of my lobes... I would say they are fairly agressive by the excessive valve train noise I have. I know that my cam is on more agressive lobes that what we first figured the specs with from what the cam card reads.
I will try to keep you guys updated a little more in the near future. I am sure I wont be able to contain myself once I get it all figured out and running right. I am hoping I will be confident enough with it to make a pass down the track very soon.
