Default BigKid - exhaust question

BigKid, I'm planning on switching to true duals when I put my ASM headers on. I saw your exhaust pics on your web page, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with something similar. I just wanted to see how you like the sound with the x-pipe and Magnaflows. If you had to do it again, would you go the same route or use something else. Thanks

matt,
bigkid and big tex have nearly the same exaust setup <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

gremlin, i have heard kenny's truck a few times in person and i love the sound. its got a good rumble but not too raspy. its kinda quiet at idle (i think thats cuz of the x-pipe)

Cool.. I think I'm leaning towards getting the Magnaflow mufflers myself. Which piping do you guys think would be better: 2-1/4" or 2-1/2"? Now I just have to wait til my tax return comes in to go have some fun.

Might as well lump me in with BigKID, BigTex, and Fast 4.8, I'm running nearly the same setup minus the cutouts. My setup comprises of Hamm headers to the cats, then x pipe, then 2 1/2 tubing into 2 Edelbrock mufflers, and exiting out the back through my roll pan. Pretty quiet at idle but you definitely know I'm there when I get on it. I'm pretty happy with this setup although I'm changing the exit location when I switch to a different roll pan.

Thanks for all the replys guys. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I absolutely love the exhaust I have now and would most definately do it again. As others have mentioned, it is fairly quiet at idle and cruising but whoa mama when you put your foot in it. It really opened the motor up on top end too without sacrificing lowend.

I have a 3 chamber Flowmaster right now, and I'm really not happy with the in-cabin DRONE that I have...it rattles the back plastic piece under the window!!

Which X-pipe did you go with? Anyone think that there would be clearance issues on a 4/6 drop?

Sorry for all of the questions, but the headers are going on next (hopefully in the next month or two) and I think that this is the route that I'm going to take.
