well i have some cousins that have c6 vetts and let me tell you that they not all that maybe because there tiptronic and convertible but i been in them and
i was expecting alot more all so when i raced the vett it was from 15mph to 80mph and yes he was raceing we talked afther that and he said
his car is stock and does 13.10 at the track not mid 12s

and another thing when i ran my buddys lightning he would shift into thrid way before i would and id be riding out second gear then when i hit 3rd around 90 id give up cause i knew what was about to happen.
but home boy couple post up has 3.23's he can damn near do 100 in second lol.
it just makes me mad when someone jumps someone for a win real bad when its possible.. not like hes in a 4.3 silverado.... or a xterra hahaha

And I'm not saying Lightnings are unbeatable, but stock for stock there is no contest....

BAN HIM for down speakth of the all mighty SILVERADO. hahaha
man for all you know the lightning was in a bad spot. maybe it wouldnt downshift into second cause of to high mph and the chevy was in sweet spot and jumped out and lightning literaly RAN past it at the end lol. roll races are so inconsistent.
look kid. cam that 6.0 you have buy some used pacesetters. get a mail order chepa *** tune and pray it works and do some weight reduction and go blow your dads truck off the track. simple as that. ill even send you my nitrous kit while my truck is down and you can borrow it haha

My last 2 vehicles have been GM, I got tired of driving something and wondering when the day would be it would blow up
There are alot of factors that hurt Lightnings. Heat being one of the biggest. in 100+ weather Lightnings suck. I hated the summer time heat in mine. 2 or 3 back to back highway races and your so heat soaked your intercooler cant keep up and the intercooler pumps haven a tendency to just quit working randomly and most people wont even know it, and then they really loose power.

I'm sure you do, but your not pulling him when yall race in your truck. I had a 2000 Lightning, 360hp(2001 is when they went up to 380hp/450tq) and all my friends had Silverado's. One was a cammed(2001) 4.8 Reg Cab and the other was a(2000) 5.3 Reg Cab w/ basic bolt ons and I dominated both of them numerous times....
And I'm not saying Lightnings are unbeatable, but stock for stock there is no contest....
