Nextel will be bringing out a nice phone in a few months.
I think it is going to be called the i930. Camera phone a windows CE based like a pocket PC. Small and loaded.

Of course I am a bit partial, since Nextel is my bread and butter.

I currently have the Samsung N400 with Sprint. I have heard Sprint sucks in some areas but where I live Sprint rocks. According to Consumer Report Verizon has best over all service throught the nation.

Sprint is the devil....more like ****** con artists. Sprint blows. Nextel has been great for the business, but the phones suck in my opinion, and its a pain in the *** to upgrade your phone, expensive too. I guess thats better than getting raped like sprint does to you. Nextel is awesome but like i said the motorola phones have some quality issues, me and my bro have gone through a dozen or so phones in 2 years because the charger pins come unsoldered and wont let you charge your battery.

I got no beef with Sprint. But Nextel can suck my ***!!! The WORST coverage I have EVER experienced out of any wireless company I have had the displeasure of being with! When I had my I60, standing in one spot Id have a signal... Turn around and Id have NOTHING. Nextel and Motorola need to realize that dual and tri-mode phones DO exist! They should look into making one. IDEN technology is extremely outdated also. VOIP and 1XRTT are on the rise.

I just got the Sanyo 5500. Its got the equivelant of Nexthells direct connect. Not using it yet but few friends are getting ready-link phones soon. Anyway, this Sanyo is the best phone I have owned IMO. When I first went to Sprint I had a Sanyo phone. Thats all I have ever owned with them. Sanyo makes a rock solid phone. The way I look at it, everybody has their own share of problems with every wireless provider. I am one of those people. I have had the least amount of headaches with Sprint.

Me and my brother had sprint and used our phones for our construction business, they would constantly overcharge us, cut off service, just totally screw up our bills, it was the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Even after I fulfilled my year contract with them they continually billed service to me even though I no longer even had there phone or a working telephone number. They still say I owe them $161.00 for bills that they charged me when I no longer had service. They ended up sending a collection agency after me and I disputed the charges, photocopied my bills and had my bank forward the check scans of my payments. Never heard back from them after that, thought it was dropped, that was about 6-7 months ago. Just got a letter from a different collection agency about 2 weeks ago, just sent out a letter disputing the charges. It has been since Oct. of 2001 since I have had sprint service and am still having to dispute charges that were 4 months after I ended service. have never once had my phone disconnected or had any problems with Nextels service in that area, Sprint just isn't a company that a business can rely on.
