Default Beat a single cab truck tonight

I raced a yellow single cab stepside 5.3 with a rollpan, exhuast, not sure if he had any other mods, oh yea he had a SS emblem on his tailgate!
He flew by me so I hit and was reeling him in when he slowed down for me.
We were going about 50, and I waited for him to punch it. As soon as he did, I did and once the truck shifted into gear I had about 1 on him and was gaining enough to almost put another half a truck on him when he slowed down. Guess he should take that SS emblem off since he got beat my a truck thats about 3000lbs heavier than him!

Nice kill! But dont be trying to step to the short cabs

If a shortcab weights 4500, and ur 3000 over that. Your saying you weigh in at 7500 !! If so congrats that beast must be moving!

Good job man, those freaking 6.0L's are strong.

I nearly got ran over by a D-Max the other day. He got the jump and had to let off to keep from running into me. Damn juiced diesels. Feels bad when a 7000lb truck can run with a RCSB, I wonder if the guy you raced was someone on here and if he'll post.

i think i read in gm hightech that the stepside bed gives you a hundred or so pounds advantage since its fiberglass. ive thought about changing mine so that i can save the weight
