Ever since I did the 6.0 swap when I go wot my battery light goes crazy, now I dont see any change in my voltage, it stay around 15, or a lil bove 14. Anyone know what could be causing this?

 

i have had my light come on while driving too but it doesn't act any different, i don't know what it is.

 

Check the female ends in the connecter going into the alternator, mine were over streched form prior owner checking plug with wrong size male test leads. It was't sending the charging signal back to the PCM hense the battery light on my truck. Just a thought?

 

my battary light kept flashing a for a few days then my alternater went out! so i replaced the alternater and havent seen the light yet!

 

i was thinkin it might be my alt, how cud I check?

 

i don't know if this works for our trucks but in the older style trucks you can start it up and while it is running, disconnect the battery and if it dies you know it is the alternator. the alternator should power the vehicle w/o the battery.

 

thats true, im pretty sure for weight reduc, some people remove their battery before they race
