Sweet .. that was a clean looking truck. Didn't you yank all the badges off or was that the other one? I just think truks look real clean without all the badging and molding and crap.

Honest question ... do you think I would at least be competitive at the street king? In other words ... are there a bunch of all out race trucks/cars that are 'street legal'. but not street driven?

BTW, I run on 27x10.5.16 ET Streets.

Thanks, my truck is an SXT, so it has the hemi badge, chrome wheels, chrome grill, the bug sheild and thats it, no running boards or moldings, it has a nice slick look, only the hemi badge gives it away. Street Kings is a fun day, normal a nice amount of runs, There is a truck class, not sure what is going to be racing in it, most of these cars are kinda street legal, some cannot go round after round, which some of the racing is round robin. There will be a lot of cars with slicks and ET's, so they will be laying down good rubber, track prep is normally awesome on these days, I know it has not been up to par the past few weeks. I know you would have fun, I doubt you could win a class, but there are some people you could surprise. All lights are instant green, no yellows, you stage, then bam

What I was saying is that the closest he is going to find someone to stock is the guy that said he would race him. He had exhaust and intake and that is going to be the closest thing to stock out of all the guys who have so far said they are going!

My truck is bone stock, has almost 20,000 miles, so are there any stock trucks still out there lol. I say we have some fun, race and weight in and see what kinda real world results we get, 2 outta 3 ?? Street tires, normal drive around everyday setup, heck mine even has the spare still under it.
I might be there, I have other plans for that weekend but might change them. My 2004 Chevy RCSB's only mod is a drop-in replacement Fram Air Hog filter, so it's basicaly stock. I would actually be courious to see how it runs compared to a stock RCSB Dodge Hemi. It would also give me a good chance to look at other Chevy's to checkout mods.

Unles the weather's horrible, I'll be there.

The next weekend is when I'll have the new pulley and some more work done to it. I had the blower off changing heads a little while ago, nothing special, just stock 6.0 heads, and a couple of the intake gaskets are messed up. I'll have them replaced and a little something else on it too. I'll hope for some low 12's that day if the weather cooperates and I can hook.

Do we have a back-up plan just in case it rains? They said to day that it supposed to rain on saturday. It'll prolly change before then. But, IF it is supposed to rain, I'll just go ahead and go Friday night.

Looks like I'll be racing on my birthday if the weather holds up. What time is this thing gonna' start?

Also wondering if you local boys can give us a last minute weather report. My computer lies about that **** all the time.

I'll stick with the weather report since it's only 15 minutes away for me.

The event will start at 6. There should be a spot marked off for us.

Here's the weather I always use. It's not the same zip code, but it's close enough.
