Default Anyone try this Transmission gauge kit ?

In searching postings I found, found this,

"Contact http://www.usspeedo.com/trans.html
I checked on this last summer. At the time the cost was $75 for pre 2003 I think, and $125 for 2003. They told me it was factory components with instructions that required only minor soldering."

Looks like a fairly easy mod. Has anyone tried it yet ? I see now they have a kit for the 04's.

I've got an 04 Suburban, Need to have the trans temp gauge, as I do tow a trailer to car shows.

Thanks for any information.

Yes it does, and gm-partsdirect has for just over $200. That might be worth looking into, since it has a tranny temp gauge, 120mph speedo, and some extra bling. You won't have to solder either. Plug and play.

I think thats such bullshit. If someone offers a better price then a sponcer your are going to make your memebers suffer by having them buy from the sponcers? **** that. We have seen how some sponcers treat members and I have no intention of buying things from sponcers just because they sponcer the site.

**** like that makes me NOT want to buy from the sponcers. BOOOO to the mods!

But as with everything in life, it all comes down to the bottom line. I thought this site was about the members, not the sponsors...oh well

Anyone care to sponsor my member?

Agreed. Crap that deals and good product, etc would be removed in a thread just because they do not sponsor the site. Sounds like california politics and special interests.
