Does anyone on here have a Trailblazer? Just curious what you thought of it and if you have had any problems? Thanks.

I had an 03 GMC Envoy. It rode great, gas mileage wasn't that good, found the I6 to be a little under powered (that's probably why the poor gas mileage because I always had my foot in it). I never ran it in the 1/4 but did race a truck that ran 16.5 and whoever would get the jump off the line would win. I liked it but I much rather my 05 Silverado Crew Cab. In the 2 years I owned it i had zero problems.

I have an 04 EXT with the 5.3. Has a little more pep than my Avalanche did when it was stock. No problems so far. The 6.0 SS looks interesting.

We had a 2004 until a girl in a Hyundai hit us going 60+ and totalled it. It ran well and got good highway mileage (20 +mpg), but bad city mileage 15-16 for a 6 cyl. Plenty of pep, but had a front end squeak that was never fixed.

Mine also had that squeak so I brought it to the dealership (friend of mine is a mechanic there) and he lubed the hood latch and the squeak went away.

Thanks for all the comments, I appreciate it. It sounds like they are a pretty solid vehicle. I think the I6 would be a very reliable engine (although not quite like what I am used to ) but at the moment I am not too concerned about the performance of one, that is not reason I am thinking about one. I think a Black 4wd trailblazer with these on it would make a nice DD and a good vehicle for me to use to go snow boarding in.

Anyone else have anything to add about their experiences with one?

My wife has an 03' Envoy and she loves it. I get to drive every now and then. Has the I6 in it. Plenty of power as long as you don't tow anything.
