How do you go about painting the chrome section? I want to paint my front and back bumpers where there chrome, and leave the black plasic trim as is.

Yes it will work fine, good prep work is the KEY... Sand blast the chrome, sand the plastic parts, clean hell out of it with alky, thinner, use a good promoter..

to paint a chrome bumper.......

1. wash it really good
2. sand it down with a 180-220 grit. this will aid in adhesion. wash it again.
3. spray about 3 nice coats of bulldog adhesion promoter.
4. spray it with primer surfacer.
5. wet sand the primer to get it as smooth as glass.
6. repeat steps 3, 4, and 5.
7. clean it really well with water and a rag. and let it dry off.
(1 more coat of bulldog, spray the sealer.... you dont have to do this, but i recommend it for better adhesion and better paint results)
8. if you dont use sealer,....spray one more coat of bulldog then paint and clear it.
if you do use sealer...... just paint and clear.

the better quality materials used, the better and longer the paint will look and last.
