Talking Anyone heard about this truck...

http://www.pacific-audio.com/perform...es/259538.html

hope the link works. special factory option package # b4v. it's a recent post.
2wd xcab/shortbox with 345hp 6l and 20's.
have I died and gone to heaven. that is my ideal truck, an ss without awd
i can't believe it, the apparent bad news is it is for texas/olha/louisiana.
I like the ss but don't want the weight or expense

I am just now getting prices on a 2004 and this comes up. I gotta figure out a way to get one.

more info at

sounds ok but you could do the same prety easy, just toss a lq9 in your truck and put some ss wheels on there.

they really didn't do anything that hasn't been done around hear a 100times all ready.

yeah, build your own that way when you blow it up YOU can pay to build it again....rather than buy a stock truck that's pretty quick stock and run the hell out of it and if it breaks then have GM pay for it.

doing basic mods on a truck that already has a 6.0 in it wont void warranty unless you have a bitch of a dealership, BUT, pulling a 5.3 and installing a 6.0 and doing the same, THAT will void warranty... it's all about using your head or not. personally i am the kind to do it myself with forged internals and what not so i don't have to worry about that stuff...but this guys seems to want exactly what is being offered, so that truck is just about perfect for him, AND it has a warranty.
