Back to OP, modding that model year is possible and it's been done but you'll have better luck and more aftermarket options if you start with a newer engine platform. Figure if your gonna add bolt-ons and what not your bankroll will eventually top what it would take to swap in a LQ9 or LQ4. I'm under the impression that those are alot easier to get power out of then your 5.7. Just food for thought.

i want to go fast..... but it doesn't have to be that fast.... so i guess just some bolt on's or something....

Last I checked, spleens weren't worth much on the black market. I'm going to need a pancreas...

if you are wanting to go fast, id suggest either swapping to Gen1 carb'd or Gen3 LSx engine
