Anyone with FIPK on 5.3

I expected throaty but this boarders on RICEY. Anyone else surprised by the sound of this intake. And please don't try and push a UPD on me. If I wanted it I would have bought it.

Mine sounds deep and throaty also. Almost sounds like an old 4 barrel opening up.

Bah, mine sounds like it acutally has some (tho' still small) ***** to it now. Very different sound. I love the open filter WOT sound on vehicles...my F-150 went from puss to way deeper and louder at WOT with the K&N FIPK on it too. I almost swear by them as they fit correctly the first time and yield gains.
