Default anyone ever put carpet in a 99+ ext cab??

I've got some carpet samples coming from stockinteriors.com this week and as soon as I figure out what color will go best with the new seats ill order it, should take another week to get here. I'm getting an entire OEM molded carpet in the color of my choice for $118 plus shipping... Its their fall sale or something lol...

Just wondering if anyone could give me some tips or a heads up on any tools I should get...

I'm gonna dynamat the floor and back part of the cab to try to quiet it down too...

Ask to see if the carpet is premolded or not, if it's premolded then it should be like changing your pants.

Its definitely molded carpet... There's no way I'd fight with flat carpet in this thing with all the curves in the floor... Been there, done that.

I put carpet in my 2000, when I had it. It was no harder to put in the new carpet than it was to take out the rubber mat that was in it.

That's good to know. I'm guessing the dynamat will be the hardest part. The carpet is already cut for bolt holes and all too....

Yeah its really easy just takes alot of time. I dynamatted my floor this past summer and it took me the better part of the afternoon to get it all done. In my 05 I had to remove the lower a/c ducts that run to the rear floor boards and forgot to reinstall them. I didnt realize it until I had my seats bolted back in.
