Only thing I want to make clear for myself is:

Posts taunting other members, even in a playful manner, are not tolerated either or is this just mainly about the taunting and "buton pushing" of our mods? The mods in the truck forum will remember my "Grippy's Lulliby" post. Are posts like these out of line? Just wanna know so I don't get added to that list since I do have a habit of playing around. LOL
I think this will fall under common sense. The grippy post was classic in so many ways......just expect it to get deleted when and if it gets out of hand.

I saw the thing that F8L is speaking of and the mod really was in error. It was NOT here in the truck section.

Hey mods, most of us do appreciate such a great website that is free. We appreciate all of your hard work and money that goes into it, hope a few dont ruin it for all.

So, in summary, don't break the rules or screw with the staff members on a personal level, and things will be fine. Simple.
You're missing my point completely.

If you wanted to remind us of the rules, then a thread with the title "Everyone Read - Reminder of the Rules of this Forum" would have been much better, IMO. As it stands, "Anyone else want to get banned?" sounds more like a angry rant than a reminder. The people you say you are addressing it to are only going to be more incensed, and the people who never break the rules (like me) aren't going to understand what the hell you are talking about.

Again, I think your purpose would be better served by addressing those people individually. You also might want to review the behavior of some of your moderators, who many times instigate and provoke much of the behavior you say is unacceptable to you. To address the members' behavior while letting the exact same behavior by moderators go unchecked seems out of balance, and may actually be fueling some of what you say is a problem.

Okay, enough out of me.

If one does not break the rules then one should not have to worry about them.

There is a fine line between having fun, and being called names and pretty much **** on by certain members.

I see where you are coming from, but how many time have you seen "Why was my thread deleted, or post edited" How many times have there been bitch out threads? I have been more than diplomatic when dealing with problems when they arise between members, mods, classifieds etc...How many times have YOU been compared to HITLER, called names, told to F*** Off? I tried to help work out a solution so this would not have to be written. Hey, sometimes you gotta say what you feel to get the point across, you just did. I'm not going to attack or defend anyone here, I usually take problems to PM.

All I can say is it has been done MANY times. What I say in PM's stays there on my behalf. That is between me and the person I'm PMing, so the details will stay there.

Well, why don't you PM me with some examples. A lot of times, problems are brought to our attention by members and they are delt with accordingly. If anyone has problems with moderators, let me know, I'll help you work it out.
