Default Anyone else go through withdrawls without their truck?

I'm dying over here.

My truck has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks now and I have to drive this F'ing Corvette to work everyday (150miles round trip). My usual route takes me over bumpy back roads which is no big deal in the truck but an adventure with the Vette (dropped 2"s and blown shocks).

I knew it was going to take at least 2weeks to finish this project but I didn't realize how sad I'd be driving something other than my big comfy truck. I am starting to hate cars. LOL

Anyone else get this way when their truck is gone?

Im the exact same way. My corvette's stay parked unless my other half takes the initiative. They are alot fo fun if you have nothing else that is quick and you can just drive them here and there. I dont understand people that can drive them day after day everywhere. Its a real struggle just for me to get in and out!! Ive got about 2 weeks until mine go back in so Im hoping I can get everything done in that time. I get the same way with my truck being gone. Its really kind of funny since my truck looks like a ghetto recovery. I have no caps on my rims, no head unit, and my SES light is on!! Work in progress I guess.

me, I was with out a truck for a year, first time ever. I was driving a honda civic and then I finally broke down and broke my wife down and bought a truck. I will never be without one again. I love it and it is so much more comfortable.

I was without mine for almost a month. Yesterday my gf and I were going somewhere. I was hanging some turns on the off ramp and she said 'SLOW DOWN!'. I told her, it's been almost a month since I've been in this thing, I'm gonna DRIVE it like I want to for a little while. I still can't open it up, so at least give me this. She just kinda laughed and said OK. She bitches about my driving just to do it I think.

I've been driving my GT1 for work and to get better mpg. I really am starting to f*cking hate cars, sure you can make them handle and run faster than most trucks, but still nothing compares to a truck! I also hate how other drivers try to run you over more when you're in a car. When I'm driving my truck, it seems they think twice about f*cking with me.

I'll be without mine for a week while its in the body shop, but the good news is were taking our focus down to south padre for 4 days so at least I'll be at the beach while the truck is getting worked on

The focus is a Mach Audio version - came with HID's and a nice (decent) system stock - and it rides so much better than my truck. Can't take turns like my truck but sure isn't as rough a ride. when we got it, it was so slow it felt dangerous getting on the highway so I put on a Volant, lightweight pulley set and a Superchip, really woke it up -its still a turd, but a loud turd. That Volant in there is ear peircing at 6k

Yeah, I drive my WRX a LOT now (not for fuel economy) as I loaned my Pops the truck for work...he sells land by the acres and needs to off-road a lot.

I roll it maybe once every other week. It's soooooo different. Truck is sloooow, but has WAY more torque. Stereo kicks ***. I can see **** on the road. Those 8 way seats are sweet, etc.

****, imagine how much I miss the ol' Ford. I see it twice a month for 3 days!
