nastiness....a bit decieving though, just a stock crank. O-ringed heads and block, forged pistons and rods, still impressive.

stock rods are good for about 800 hp. After that they will bend. Not too shabby for a stock engine though!

those bragging rights crack me up. The question should be, "Anybody curious how long a stock engine (crank and rods) can handle +30lbs of boost?"

Damn!!! I would love to be proved wrong but I don't see it lasting very long. He said he has made several pulls on an engine dyno but track racing is pretty tough. My thoughts and prayers are with the crank.

Thats far from a stock LS... cam, intake, turbos and FUEL system limit most combos... and this was on an engine dyno... when my truck was making 800-840 i was pissed... Talked with KUP and was told he had engine dyno with 1100hp... Put it on a mustang dyno he only made 800s.... driveline... converter loss... most times its not the engine itself.... There is a true stock motor setup running around here that makes big power but found more of the limits of the intake setup and small camshaft but no limits on the engine itself

Agreed, but none the less, stock block, crank, heads ect on this thing.. Still very impressive, if you ask me...
