Damn!!!
I would love to be proved wrong but I don't see it lasting very long. He said he has made several pulls on an engine dyno but track racing is pretty tough.
My thoughts and prayers are with the crank.

Thats far from a stock LS... cam,intake,turbos and FUEL system limit most combos... and this was on an engine dyno... when my truck was making 800-840 i was pissed... Talked with KUP and was told he had engine dyno with 1100hp... Put it on a mustang dyno he only made 800s.... driveline... converter loss... most times its not the engine itself.... There is a true stock motor setup running around here that makes big power but found more of the limits of the intake setup and small camshaft but no limits on the engine itself
