Well Im not going to me your everage run of the mill Z71 either.

Two weeks from now my truck will be pushing 500hp at the rear wheels maybe more, and on top of that a 200 shot. I ran basically a 14 flat with just nitrous and bolt ons. My new engine will be making a 100 more hp na than my old engine was with the 100 shot then add a 200 shot to the motor plus I will be adding cal-tracs, a higher stall, and smaller tires I think I will have more than enough to take care of him hopefully but who knows. Ill definately get it on video win or lose.

BTW Im not building a run-of-the-mill 6L Im building a forged 408 with DART custom LS1 heads, and a 237/242 112lsa cam.

 

With those mods including the 100shot..... I think your going ot be outta luck!!!!!

If he knows how to drive.... The ls1 with nitrous and Headers and stuff I could see running a 12!!

and with slicks maybe even faster!!!!!!

I dont know man I just think on motor I will run a low 13 and with a 200 shot, thats gotta knock off atleast a second and this race will be out on the street so traction for him will be an issue but not for me.

I think honestly with the new mods besides just the motor I should be in the 11.5-11.7 range with the nitrous and I would think that would be plenty. Plus like I said I "think" he has a 100 shot on it and when I run him if he stays close with me then the cat will be out of the bag that he has nitrous otherwise Im going to crack his *** like nobody's business.

Ill be sure and get it on video it should be fun. (with all four tires)

 

an LS1 F body with those mods plus nitrous will be an 11 second car even if he can't drive that well. this is a HUGE weight different we're talking about. you may beat him, but dont expect to show him taillights.

 

i had the same mods(except roller rockers) and the i ran mid 12's all day in a m6. if he has a 100 shot he should be in the 11's easy, but if you say he has all the mods and a shot then you will get owned!! If no shot then should be a good race.

 

except roller rockers? i've never ever seen a gen3 without roller rockers.

 

I'm guessing low 12s with spray, if not 11s, and low to mid 13s w/o spray.

 

i had a 99z and ran a 13.1 with lid,exhaust and a shifter. God i miss that car. i beat so many SS's

 

Just run him from a dig when you do get to race him..That will give you your best chance if you can hook... Are you going to race him on the street or track?
