Default Anybody have the new autometer overhead gauge pod?

Like the one bgray has?

If you do how easy it to see the gauges? I kind of want to get my gauges off the a-pilar as they are kind of a thief magnet and would help keep them from easily being seen through my side window.

With it painted to match it would look good, paying 125 bucks for that little chunk of metal is just retarded and I have 5 gauges I need to find homes for without using the a-pilar so Im only left with using the column pod and this 4 hole overhead pod.

How does that thing attach to the windshield or headliner?

Here is what I have and I can see the gauges fine. It's not as nice as the socal, but it's only $50. Which is still kind of high to me, but I think it looks better than the autometer overhead pod.

Here is another interesting option.

That plate you posted isnt angled for the gauges it owuld seem that would make it hard to see them. Does it?

I have a tranny temp gauge and my afr gauge up there. I have to lean over just a bit to get a good view of the left side of tranny gauge because of the lip on the guage. I can see the afr gauge just fine. I sit with my seat all the way back to have room for my legs though. I've been meaning to go out and take some pictures with the gauges in there so I will go do that now and may be you can see what I mean.
