I just got my 50' DLP TV from them and saved $850 over buying it at a chain store once you add in tax.. You don't pay tax online.

For instance the Olympus C769 retails for $399 and they are selling it for $339 with zero tax and shipping is as little as $13.

The C770 retails at $499 and they are selling for $389.

The have EXCELLENT customer service too. They called me a week later to ensure that I ws happy with the purchase of my TV, then again concering my home theatre package I bought a couple days after the TV.

As for cameras.... I really like my older Olympus. My buddy has a thing for Nikon. We use em to take pics of our reef tanks and racing mostly.

 

I have the new Sony cybershot DSC-W1, i love it, it is a 5.1 megapixel and it has a 2 1/2" screen, which is huge and you can also take short movies with sound. Just my .02

 

I have a nikon coolpix 4.3.

 

I don't know if you have a frys electronics in your area, but every weekend(sunday) they put digital camera's on sale for half price.5megapixel and short video clips can be taken with the one i bought my mom for christmas. Not some off brand, it is an olympus.

I recently bought a Fuji FinePix S7000. Its got great resolution, can take a microdrive up to 2GB, and can do movies with sound, plus has capability of professional lenses, wide angles, zooms, etc.

I bought it...ironically at Wal-Mart Online. I got a 5 Yr extended warranty for 25.00.
The camera price was around $450 USD. (I believe)

The Camera was priced about the same as everyone else, but the warranty amount per price was the kicker for me.

Watch Wal-Mart's shipping though....They send it by Camel, with no tracking options, Unless you Up the shipping type.

Buy.com is decent, Amazon's always good. Shop around online, but make sure you get a good warranty with it.

 

no need to pay a crap load of $$$ for all the goodies.

you can get a good camera for $200-300.

make sure it has at least these:

a) 4.0 megapixels or more

b) a higher number for optical zoom, the better

c) higher numbers for digital zoom is not necessarily better (you lose quality the more you zoom in digitally)

d) some come with 16mb flashcards, you can only store like 24 good pictures (having a 256 mb memory card is great, you can store over 200-300 good quality pics)
