Default abs module might be causing my truck to go dead

So my truck has been slowly draining the battery since I got it. I had a bad BCM so I swapped it out with a matching junkyard one and had it reprogrammed. That took care of all my other problems (head lights stay on door chimes stay on...) anyways My battery kept going dead if I didnt drive it every two to three days. Thought it was one of my amps so I disconnected them. Still had the same problem. Checked all of my fuses with a test light and came up with nothing. So I was just reading a website that says the abs module will stay on sometimes and cause the battery to go dead. Is there any way to disconnect it and see if my battery still dies? I don't really want to spend $400 on a new one just to find out it was something eles.

Was doing some more reading and everyone says they can hear a humming noise after they shut off the vehicle. I don't have this noise so its probably not the abs module. What do you guys think it is?

I believe you can pull the fuse in the Engine Wiring Junction Block. In mine its a 60 amp fuse. That will cut power to the ABS motor. Your ABS light will probably stay on and you may get an ABS code.

Thanks for the input. I don't care about dash lights i just want to find out what the problem is. I'm on my 3rd battery in two years from running them dead too many times. Kinda getting tired of it.

pull your ABS fuse and see if the problem goes away.
