ABS light on!

Default ABS light on!

like the title says my abs light is on and i checked the fluid and its full..what else could it be?...this has never happend thats why im asking...any help is greatly appreciated...thanx in advance

did you pull the code? Im willing to bet your front wheel speed sensors got some grime on them, Mine was on all week tell I replaced the sensor then all was good. But get the code then we can help you more

i think there was a recall on some of our trucks for this but i think all the dealer would do is remove the sesnors and clean em

mine is on as well along with the brake light...I did new rotors and pads in the front and cleaned the sensors but the light is still on...hate seein those dang lights on! let us know what you did

Theres a thread just below this one with a guy having about the same problem, orginally back in the winter my trucks abs light and brake light was on, then after a week it got worse like my gas gauge and battery guages didnt work, none of the dials worked except the speedo and rpm. Then just for kicks I cleaned the driver side grounds on the driver side body mount and it fixed everything

I would second the speed sensors. I have had intermittent ABS lights for the past few years since I installed Hawk pads. I have pulled the codes several times and have always been one of the front wheel speed sensors. I believe the excessive brake dust screws up the sensors.
