How do i repalce the front wheel bearing on the 99 silvy 2wd 1500 series. I cannot get the hub to pull out i removed the three bolts that go into the spindle but cannot pull out the hub? Is there a nut inside the plate on the backside of the spindle??

hub assemblies are actually a good idea cuz 'theoretically' they never have to be replaced. It's a sealed unit so there is nowhere for the grease to go, and the bearings are unable to shift around like they do with a standard inner/outer/grease seal setup. It sucks when they go bad, but typically you can get 10 or so years out of those things without ever even having to worry about them. By the way, go to any checker auto parts..they are $144.99.

replaced one of mine awhile back. if the caliper, rotor, and all that stuff is off and you've got the three bolts out it should come right out. there is nothing under the dust cap. must be rusted in there, only thing i can tell you is spray it down with pb blaster and beat on it.
